Effective October 13, 2026

CarMagics keeps cookies to a minimum. Optional cookies, such as ad measurement, are set only with your consent.

cpw_googleStrictly necessary cookieOnly when you choose "Continue with Google": links the sign-in to your browser to block forged sign-in attempts.10 minutes, removed when sign-in finishes
_ga, _ga_*Analytics cookie (optional)Set by Google Analytics only after you choose "Allow analytics": counts visits and which pages are used. No ads, no Google signals.Up to 13 months

cm_sent:*Optional analytics local storageAfter analytics consent, avoids counting the same purchase or completed video again in this browser.Until you clear your browser storage
_fbp, _fbcAdvertising cookies (optional, Meta)Set by the Meta pixel only after you allow "Ad measurement", on our public pages (home, packages, FAQ, contact, product pages and blog) and once on a blank sign-up confirmation page of ours. They let Meta count visits from our Facebook and Instagram ads and the new accounts that follow them. The pixel never runs on sign-in, Studio, My Cars or other account pages.90 days
cm_ads_consentLocal storage and preference cookieRemembers your ad-measurement choice, separately from analytics, so the browser and server honor it.Cookie: one year; local storage: until you clear it
cm_mev_regOptional advertising cookieAfter ad-measurement consent, notes that a new account was just created (a random code, no customer details) so the sign-up confirmation page can tell Meta once.Removed when it is sent; one day at most
cm_meta_sent:*Optional advertising local storageAfter ad-measurement consent, avoids reporting the same new account to Meta twice from this browser.Until you clear your browser storage
cm_utmFirst-party campaign cookieOnly when you arrive from one of our social posts or ads: remembers which campaign link you first used (for example "instagram, m2_dealers") so we can see which posts bring customers. It holds only the link's campaign tags, nothing about you, and is not shared with anyone. Not set if your browser sends Global Privacy Control or you turned analytics off.90 days
cm_cookie_noticeLocal storage (preference)Remembers that you closed the cookie notice so it is not shown again.Until you clear your browser storage

Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent under EU and UK rules. Optional cookies are set only with your consent, each choice separately, and never when your browser sends Global Privacy Control; change or withdraw a choice any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. Our fonts are served from our own domain, so no font provider receives your visit.

Payments

When you check out, you are taken to Stripe's secure checkout page, which sets its own cookies for fraud prevention and payment processing under Stripe's privacy policy.

Ad measurement (Meta)

Only if you allow ad measurement, our public pages tell Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram) that a page was viewed and, right after you create a new account, that a sign-up was completed. That sign-up message comes from a blank confirmation page of ours, so Meta never sees the address of your account pages. Meta receives the public page address, browser and device details, your IP address and its own cookies, and may connect this to a Facebook or Instagram account you are signed in to. We never send your email, phone, name, account or car details, photos, listing links, prices or payment details, and we turned off Meta's automatic matching. Meta handles this under its own privacy policy.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the session cookie, you will not be able to stay signed in.

Changes

If we add analytics or other optional cookies in the future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required before setting them.
